Action was taken against 46 organizations
The Ministry of Trade and Industry said it has taken action against illegal trade and manufacturing companies in the past six months.
Administrative and Market Inspection and Regulatory Director of the Ministry, Teketel Geto, said administrative measures have been taken against 46 companies that have violated the law in the past six months.
The director said the action was taken due to the fact that they were traded outside of their licenses, traded on a non-renewable business license, due to poor quality of products and non-compliance with the National Signal Directive.
